Meh, mine is a little loud. Hell at 70mph the group I ride with listen to what I listen to. LOL

I think what ur missing is that with 4 Beyma CX300NDs pointed at the back of ur head, it's beyond exceptional at 80 from the fairing and the rear stage thus the bags are just white noise. The rear stage is damn near the front stage. There is no "right" strategy, but there are lots of different ones that can deliver well beyond expectations & assumptions.

Thus bags for my riding strategy are not all that important.

I don't have big bass speakers in my bags, just 6x9s in the lids and 6.5s in the rear pods. I can hear them fine at high speeds but I guess that's because they are pointing at me instead of the rear wheel.

I only tried this to see exactly where the bags fall off, some kept repeating thoughts with no testing done of bags going away at "X" MPH..

So I literally only had the bags turned on for the test, they are band passed somewhere between 60hz and 1800hz with a few peaks and valleys in between.

You guys just have to ride slower, so you don't outrun the sound waves in the rear, lol.

8s in bags go into Casper mode at 30-40 mph with 250 watts and crossed at 72-5000.

8's crossed higher can be heard. I have mine crossed at 75 - 8k, and I can hear them, especially if faded to the rear a bit, but then again my bike is a little different than most.

10" high sensitivity mids being pushed by a bridged Stinger will make mamma tingle.

I've tried a similar experiment with my bags at highway speeds. Crossed from 70-2500 while riding. On the JL dsp I can switch on the fly. What I'll say is that between 50-70 I can't "hear" what's going on with the bags, but when I switch them on vs off, I do detect a bit more a full sound. So I suppose you can say I hear them, but what I feel like it does it give me that surround effect and fills in the blanks of the lower freqs. When riding with my 8" lid tour pack, it's irrelevant what the bags do because that drowns out bags as those are crossed from 90-6k and That's all I can hear coming from behind my head. I do agree with T that 8's crossed low in the bags go Casper real quick. But I could definitely see the benefit of playing higher freqs at speed from 8's or 10's in the bags for more of a midbass / Mid-Range sound to add even more fullness to your setup while riding.
