What is the condition of your current battery? Have you "load tested" it? The battery question is just like an oil question or tire question... you're gonna get a lot of suggestions .... Big Crank ( battery Mart ) offers a reasonable solution ... And "BigRed" has an option for your peace of mind

UL,
I think it is more a question of what batteries are gonna allow the most static play time.

Lithium batteries will give you a higher maintained voltage until the end of discharge. Where a lead acid will have more decline in voltage as it discharges making your equipment run less efficiently.

At the end end of the day two batteries with the same amp hour rating will provide the same energy over time at a constant current draw. Lithium are excellent at discharge and recharge however a conventional lead acid battery can suffer damage from that sort of deep cycle discharging. If money is no object lithium batteries are the best choice available at the moment. Different manufactures will provide different amp hour ratings. Typically the higher the rating the larger and more expensive the battery will be.
