Kinda got my mind set on the 6.5 GZ red baskets. Problem Im having is figuring out the right amp to power these guys. Im trying to find a micro amp at but so far have only found ones that put 150 w Rms.. are there some others Im missing?
Also Ill have to rerun my power and ground since its only 8 gauge. Currently have a 60 amp fuse on the power wire, what size would I go to if adding another amp? Do I just add the amperage rating of both amps to get the correct size?
Im always up for suggestions. Current set up is MMATs 4110 amp, pa601cx in fairing and pa690cx in the lids.
How do you like the Mmats pa601cx compared to others.
Compared to the few other 6.5s I have heard I really like them. Sitting still I think the highs could be a little bright for some people, but overall I really like them.
I ran 4 ga wire to the fairing to feed multiple amps.
Another amp option would be a nvx, its 250x2 bridged. Ive never heard one on those speakers tho.
I have a main 100 amp breaker by my battery and then I have everything fused in the distribution block. I also have 4 amps.
Juice
I like that idea... what distribution block are using? Does the block itself actually have spots for the fuses? Or do you have an in-line fuse on the cable after the block?
