I am going to get the bike flashed again, 4 speakers 0 amp. What DSP do you recommend? Would I eliminate the BT355s too? Thanks Tailwind.
I use the ARC PSM DSP but the major factor for me was the size followed by functionality. If u want it in the fairing then either the ARC or possibly the DD unit if u don't have a CB in the clutch side cubby as I think it will slide in the hole. The ARC is the size of a pack of smokes and will mount several places under the hood.
If u don't care about size then the JL is prob the best quality available
The ARC is just a simple yet practical solution. And it does perform well. Plus u could prob jam up to Badd Azz Customs and pick one up same day. Then over a 12 pack u and I could do a soup to nuts intro at the lake and get a few baseline tunes loaded that u can tinker with to meet ur specific ears & riding styles desires.
I will add the disclaimer for those reading this thread and only interested in making one step from Boom speakers into a practical speaker tier like Kappas, Polk, Kicker, etc.. there is absolutely no need for a DSP. Get the BT Line Lever, put the hood back on and go ride. If u have any inkling of moving into the more complex audio setup, get the DSP and skip a step in the process.

Clearly a DSR is the better of all the options but to some extent, I'd still like to understand how this stuff works.
They guy earlier mentioned the bt355. Fairly pricey at 85.00. There's also PAC SNI-35. for 30.00. Same device minus the "motorcycle" price gouge.(correction not the same device afterall) And last but not least the PACL.O.C. PRO Series 4-Channel Line Output Converter
These devices for the most part step the voltage down and adapt to RCA. So is it correct to assume that does nothing to the "mix". Even indirectly and when you send that signal to the amp youre just jacking up the same bad mix?
FYI if you just want to adapt speaker wires to rca Rockford Fosgate RFI2SW is the best I found.
I think it all depends on how much you want to spend. If you really want rid of the Boom EQ curve, swap out the head unit. That will be a night and day difference.

Many have been down this road of trying to save $40-50 with PAC and other line out converters. Many have also not been happy with them and swapped them out for the BT355. I know there are cheaper solutions out there but there are not better solutions than the Biketronics BT355 unless you want to go with a DSP or an aftermarket head unit that sends a cleaner signal than stock.
You've asked for help and there's been many that posted the solution but you keep trying to go a cheaper route. There is no cheaper route. The BT355 is a Line Leveler not a LOC and is designed specifically for the Rushmore HU's.
There is so much to read... In fact, I was just reading a post from back in 2016 where some local dude popped in here asking questions and got butt hurt. After some hair pulling, lol, everything got back on track and he continued to get help from some of these guys. I think there was beer involved. Wow that was cool. I wish I could find some knowledgeable bros around DFW. Im pretty frustrated but I'll get there.

I know it prob look like that but not really. Like I said I just want to understand.
Understood. The Biketronics BT355 is the absolute easiest fix. It's designed to flatten the EQ curve from the HU. I have read good reports on the Rockford flash but all of those guys were running a DSP as well.
