Wow ok. Didn't see that coming. These are the exact speakers Im running.
damnit hang on...need to find the right link
Yeah that's are pretty bad option for a bike. +1 with Adenton. I'm sure these guys could give you a much better recommendation on some proven products.
No offense taken.
However here I am. Everything is installed soldered and shrinked up nice and pretty.
It sounds badass in the garage lol and as long as Im playing MP3 it sounds 1000x better than it did before.
Playing FM is a different story. I don't know why but the Bass and Treble are off the charts playing the radio.
So...damage control.
Since DSR is just another mind ***** waiting to happen , Get 1 BT335 and go back to front channel only. For now. See how long the M3004 lasts for weekend rides.
RECAP...the only problem I have "at the moment" is the terrible mix coming from the HU. That is NOT to ignore the warning of trouble ahead like with the amp not lasting.

You mentioned that you like have the fade option and you can retain this using the BT355s You will have to get one for the front and one for the rear. Radio to BT355s to amp and amp to speakers will let you use your fade.

Yeah I got that. Not to sound cheap but if it's not going to be close to 100% fix and Im in damage control they're like 80 bucks each. So I can go back to front only. Get the dealer to take the fade out.
To me at this point I swear it's plenty loud and I can hear it fine at 80mph. (stock pipes) So based on what I've learned today, its just probably not going to make it in the long term. IMO it's not having a problem pushing the speakers. It actually sounds awesome until 1 of those bass notes hits.
So Im attributing that to the OEM HU. I had sony speakers in it and it sounded way too tinny. So I returned those and replace with the polk and it's a night/day difference.
I have to attribute some of this maybe to me jumping in the deep end here. What I call awesome you guys might think otherwise? I don't mean about the amp not holding up. I hear you but again. If I could get around the crappy mix part then "for now" I got what I need.
okay so now Im going to ultra rookie mode.
This is the amp setting Im using. Per the manual lol
If I try to put either channel in HP it didn't sound good. I tried adjusting some but didn't spend much time on it.
