I recently purchased a set of Beyma 6CX200Nd/N speakers for my 2012 Roadglide Custom that already has the PRV PRV 6MR500-NDY in the lowers and H.A.T. Imagine 6x9's in the lids.
I had to return the Beyma's for non fitment to my year Roadglide.
On the suggestion of a very reputable audio installer I am thinking of buying a set of Ground Zero Competition GZCM 6.5N-PRO along with Beyma SQL60 Compression Driver/Horns.
Before making the purchase I would like to know if there will be a problem mounting the GZ 6.5's as I did with the Beyma's?
I'd hate to go through the same dilemma with these as I did so with the Beyma's.
Any information is greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Umm wouldnt the very reputable audio installer know this? Asking for a friend
Frenchie, he told me that the adapter rings in the fairing might have to be shaved down a hair or so for the 6.5 to clear the inner.
I just wanted to make sure I wouldn't run into any other problems with the GZ's as I did with the Beyma's.
Mike
You need a shallow 6.5 to fit a RG fairing, or shaved down 6.5 adaptor. Curious why you think the GZ 6.5 is the answer for your set up? Do you think it plays the correct frequency range to compliment the rest of your bike?

Thanks for the reply Alex, I appreciate it.
I didn't think the GZ was the answer that's why I am asking here.
I was going to just get a set of horns to compliment the H.A.T. Unity 6.5's I already have in the fairing.
Originally I believed that the one fairing speaker was blown I have since determined that the crackling noise I was hearing was coming from the tweeters I had.
I was thinking of the DD VO-B3 Horns but just not sure where to mount them.
Would the inner fairing be okay or just a waist?
I value your opinion very much.
thanks.
Mike
Since I do not have a blown 6.5 speaker and I am in need of a set of Tweeters or Horns which should I get to compliment my System?
DD VO-B3, Beyma SQL 60 or?
All suggestions are welcomed.
Thanks.

Depends where you plan to mount them. I would also add to put them on their own channels, for tuning purposes.

Juice, I have a SD 250.2 amp for them.
If I go with the Beyma SQL 60 I'll probably mount them in the grilles.
I'm not sure where to mount the VO-B-3's was thinking the inner fairing, facing the forks, but not sure if that's wise.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.

Get the SQLs. Much better sound quality tweeter and add the B3 in the back if you want more highs from your lids. Id go with a Beyma speaker over the HAT 6.5 on a bike any day.

Thanks for the info Alex I'll be going with the SQL's in the fairing speaker grille's.
I'll also look into the B3's in the lid speakers if needed.
Any suggestions on which Beyma 6.5's to go with that will fit in My 2012 Roadglide Custom fairing.?
