Speaker wire length has absolutely nothing to do with time alignment. Not even in the same ballpark.

 

Hey Hoyt - Could you link to that article? I've been reading their DSR-1 articles as I proceed with the tuning process and find them helpful. I don't remember reading what you are referring to here though. Maybe I have.....

I have tried this very method and does appear to help with the low end.. The biggest part is definitely cut that low side with a steep slope. you can play with the "q" setting again relize it will bleed over into other Fz's so watch how wide you let it run.

Does it matter what equipment you use to tune the DSP ? I have been trying to do it with my Note 9 (android) , but last night I used the setting from AHB for louder bass on my tab 3 tablet and I get a completely different sound. I didn't hear the faring housing acoustic as bad as i did with my note 9. Or maybe I was dreaming

 

I personally do not like Rockford, and I despise BT connection. I would always choose hooking a laptop or computer up to something and use the interface and software that way. Different connections should not change anything rather via phone, or tablet. I know there are software differences between apple and android.
