2016 Tri-Glide audio up-grade

I am looking to up-grade the audio system on my 2016 Tri-glide and value the vast knowledge and experience I find in this section. I have the bone stock system that came with my bike. From all I read here, I need to plan on replacing the speakers and adding an amplifier (or more than one) along with some extras to retain the handlebar functions as they are now. I am not afraid to do the install myself ( I did on my 2013 FKHTC with good results) but don't see a lot of information on Tri-Glides. My budget is around $1000.00 to start with. I would like to continue to build the system as more $$$ become available. I would like to replace the factory fairing speakers, tour-pac pod speakers and an amplifier to start with, and then add more speakers and amplifiers in the lowers and body. What I don't want to do is buy a bunch of components that will just have to be replaced with something better later because I didn't buy good quality or right stuff to begin with. My ultimate goal is to have a system that plays nice and loud with quality sound while cruising down the highway and sounds killer in the parking lot. I do understand that sounding awesome in the parking lot and expecting the exact same sound while cruising at 70 mph is not a real expectation, but it can sound great while cruising. Putting a sub woofer (or more than one) in the trunk would only cause issues with the wife because of her need for storage space. I would appreciate any of your input or suggestions. I listen to all kinds of music, rock most of the time, country some and do listen to the radio a lot. Thank you.

Haze - alex@baggeraudiolab.com just recently finished a tri- glide he sent me a vid but I can't find the dam thing!! Anyway, That bike sounded awesome!! Might want to touch base with him and he'll steer you in the right direction!
