I also had never seen speaker lids cut before. This looks like the RF speaker grills in photos I have seen. I wonder if they are basically the same?
I also noted the Soundz amp they were using comes with a DSP in the kit. They didn't mention the price though which leads me to believe it may be even more expensive than the Harley Stage 2 kit.
I had never seen a Road Glide taken apart and the audio upgraded before so I thought this video was interesting: Road Glide Speaker Install

The thing that bugs me the most about soundz is that I dont see any specs or info on any of their products. Amp output, speaker specs or dsp software would be nice info. Its like your just supposed to take their word for it that its what you want.
After watching the vid, the 6x9 lid kit is identical to the RF lid kit if not a RF lid kit down to the logos on the grills. Maybe Sounds buys the kit from RF and re labels it.

I don't think they do a bad job, of what they do. They do it well, it's just at a premium. The rebranding they do appears to be at least quality products. As long as you don't mind paying twice the price for your equipment plus install labor, you're good.
For someone that has more dollars than cents sense, it's a good market racket.
Yes they do play it at 100% . my house is just over 1/2 mile from highway 16 even with the corn up you can hear them clearly enough to tell what is playing as the ride by. there are limits and when people are to stupid to use self control serious fines are needed.

Thats the freakin truth. You can do a lot better for the amount of money they charge.1 amp, 6 6.5’s and 2 6x9’s with a head unit and DSP will run you 4300 bucks. For 4300 bucks, you can do the same thing with 3 times to power, 4 8’s and 4 6.5’s and a DSP, and the same head unit and absolutely face rape the stuff they put together. Does it sound fine, sure, at 2000 bucks, not at 4K for speakers with zero info given and an 85w rms rating. I don’t care how efficient they are, that’s just not much power handling for speakers running you 800 a pair. Beyma’s top dog pro audio “coax” will murder them for the same price.
I read the rest of the thread lol. There are a lot of companies with this same basic model(rebrand, good marketing, sodomize the consumer). I just wish I could get away with it. All I've ever done is buy high and sell low.
