Ok, if I were to trade out the BT 4180 for a new amp, what would it be? Not worried about FM but I want to keep my stock HU. And I have a couple of BT 355 line levelers. Hertz SV 165 in the lowers and BT Titan 7.1's in the fairing. I am thinking of going with the Mmats 6.1 cx's in the faring but maybe add a DSP? Of can I get an amp that will negate the DSP? Still searching for a better system..........
If I added a Dayton DSP and kept the current set up (BT4180, Titan 7.1's - fairing, Hertz SV-165's - lowers, 2 line levelers), would I be able to improve the mid range and overall sound of my system? Hate to unload the BT amp and 7.1's but looking for better sound! Thanks.
I'm running a 4180, only downfall I had was not able to adjust crossovers and gains, not a issue once I installed tuner.
Don't know about the Dayton 408 ,but the DD dsi-2 has sure made a difference with my system and I don't know what I 'm really doing with it yet, I also pulled my 7.1 and went with PA 601.4cx, no comparison between the two speakers the 601 cx blow them away at least to my ears.
I have noted the Dayton DSP is discussed a lot on this forum. I am still running the stock HU, GTS. I am hoping to keep it and just either upgrade the amp or run a DSP to improve the signal I have. The Titan 7.1's will eventually find a new home. Thanks.

If you are keeping the Stock HU and wanting to tune your system for either parking lot OR riding tune the Dayton will work but you will have to find a happy medium in your tune for both riding and parked. If you are wanting 2 different tunes for BOTH parking lot and riding the only one on the market at this time is the ARC PSM that will automatically switch the tunes when wired to do so.The Digital Design DSI-2 can store multiple tunes but you will have to manually change from one to the other. Also the only way to get the control for the DD is to get the bluetooth adapter kit for it.
