Faital Pro 8FE200
Anyone ever tried this speaker? It looks good on paper, as does the Beyma 8G40-4.
Not necessarily looking to change, but the Faitals are only $50, and it might be a cool experiment.

Both would ne good to compare to the prv. Keep the same tune, same impedance and power, and see what sounds better. There is no doubt it is as simple as it sounds, but it might be worth a $50 test.

Honestly, there are a lot of speakers that look good on paper. Several of the DS18 look great, but it's hard for me to imagine that they can handle the power the list. How does a $50 speaker handle 275 watts rms? Maybe I'm just not knowledgable enough to know.

I have no doubt about that.
I know power doesn't necessarily equal volume, and volume doesn't equal sound quality. I am reasonably happy with what I have...just fighting the what if battle.
