I have a stupid question. I have MMATS in the lowers of my 14 SG. I thought they were one variety and planned on moving them to the uppers but apparently I am not very bright.
I have PS65CX speakers in the lowers. 100 watts RMS, 70hz to 22Khz.
The recommended speakers are PA601cx at 120hz to 20Khz.
CAn someone please explain the difference and since there apparently is, is it worth it to move these up? Currently have the BT 7.1 speakers in upper now. Long term plan, SV165 to the lowers, MMATS to uppers.
the PS speaker are nice in a car, but not very good for a bike. the 601.4cx is much better suited for a bike. if you were to go with your long term plan, use the 601.4cx in the upper and either the sv165 or the 601cx again in the lower. it will depend on what amp you are using, how you can tune it and again what your longer term plan might be.
