Default What lowers should buy ?
Have 2015 Road glide Special and I am looking to add lowers with speaker pods.
I currently have Sony ax5000, Stinger SPX 700 x4, Mmats Pa601.4cx in fairing.
I would like to put another set of Mmats Pa601.4cx in the lowers.
What Lowers should I get that will fit the Mmats ? The lowers will have to be Amber Whisky color.

If money isn't an issue get Harley ones. If it is an issue get Advan ones.

I have a set from the Fairing Factory and although I have not mounted them yet I did test fit the MMats and they dropped right in.

Hell if ur going all in for biggest audio gain from s single location get the Dirty Bird 8" lowers.

Could not agree more. The DB lowers are nice and very little prep work prior to paint. Definitely dry fit them to your lowers first before you send off to paint.

Dagnabbit now y'all are throwin the number 8 around for lowers. Don't mean to hijack but are there any 8" speaker boxes that will fit OEM lowers, or are they all custom made?

I would love to try a set of PA801s down there but don't want to ditch my stock lowers.

The best speaker I have heard for the DB lowers are the Beyma cx8.

There are a lot of guys who have fabricated their own 8" lowers. Yooper, Gannicus, BabyBoy, Inthewind. They have all tried a few different speakers too.
