If the job is not done properly, there IS a noticeable difference. Maybe they do the job the right way from the start, so they dont get to experience the issues. A lot of my work is cleaning up messes and putting out fires from OTHER people and / or shops that install these kinds of systems and modifications and do it incorrectly, which does result in lack of performance.
