Saddle Bag Volume
Has anyone ever actually measure what the volume of the old and new style stock saddlebags? I've tried some basic internet searching trying to find out the number,butI have been unsuccessful. I'm trying to get a value in cm3 or liquid volume measure so that i can experiment with port designs, but it's not that easy to do without knowing the starting volume of the bag, with the lid on and closed.

Go to Costco, get cheap and big bag of rice. Fill up the saddlebag using bucket with measuring marks. To get full volume remove the lid, flip it and put rice in it.
Another option- garbage bag inside saddlebag and water
