Hey guys, I have a friend who.needs to get his new setup installed this weekend. He is in Dallas, and hoping to get it before the ride up to BB&BBQ in Fayetteville. Any ideas?

Why can't you do it? You've definitely had lots of practice....pun intended.

That's the exact reason. If something is messed up on mine, I know who to blame. I dont want someone calling me from the road with an issue.

What’s he installing? If it’s a simple 2 or 4 speaker set up it should be pretty strait forward and easy for you.

The fairings and amp I'm good with. He is doing rear pods, which I've never attempted.

Rear pods are nothing special. What is he trying to put in them? You got this!

Pods areyou no big deal, you should be good to go, just pick the correct speaker. What kind of set up does he have in mind?

He bought bt355s, Mmats 4110 amp, Mmats 601.4cx for the fairing and DD (I believe the AWs) for the pods. I had him call Cameron Johnson at Bad Azz Bikes to make sure that he had everything he needs. They made him a good deal and picked a pod speaker that they said they knew would fit.

Do pods have to be trimmed for the mmats coax in the fairing? It's a 2014 Ultra CVO.

while the DD Aw is a great speaker, i dont think it works well in a tp pod without a dsp, i think that your buddy would be better off with 4 mmats pa601.4cx's, just need a spacer to fit in the pod. the faring pod might need a little clearance work, but not to crazy.

That was my original suggestion. The change was suggested by Bad Azz Bikes, based on fitment. I'm not positive it was the AW they sold him, since it's an older model, however I know those guys know their stuff.
