If Juice has volunteered his services I wouldn't bother with speaking to shops. Shops have a way of making impulse buying make sense which we all know is not true. Juice has a good ear and very good install abilities. He will get you where you want to be.

 

Yup I will second that. I will warn you that he will cause you to spend $$. He has cost me a lot of money dammit...… lol All kidding aside, Juice knows what he is doing and your stuff will rock when he is done.

 

Thanks for the Vote of confidence. CB and I have talked about earlier this year. We can get him as loud as he wants to spend. LOL

My focus is not loud, which is why I was so impressed with Juice's approach. His system sound clean and rich. Amazing quality.

My guess is that we can focus on amazing sound, and when my system is done, I'll have all the volume this old man needs.

 

My play would be wait on Juice. He can either guide you on equipment or put it all together for you. You will get more for less or much more if you want to max your $3k spend. I'd also keep an eye on the classified section. Juice can tell you if its a good buy and compatible with the rest of your build... Recently saw a good price on a DD-1 DSP brand new Baby Boy had up for sale, I think it's gone now, but the point is there are savings to be had in the classifieds.

 

Here's another vote for Juice.
What a great guy. He went above and beyond in helping me get my audio tuned without even hearing it in person.
I can't wait for him to work his magic after I install the MMats.
