I also have one SD 250.2 Running the Tweeters all tuned with a DD DSI-2.
I''m just replacing the HATS in The Upper Fairing with the PA601.4CX and HATS in The Lids with the PA690.4CX.
Then I'll have to retune The System.

It was extremely windy again today but I was determined to install the MMats so I took a chance and did.
I started out with the 6x9's in the Lids and once installed I knew I made the right decision.
What a difference between the MMats and HATS. Like night and day.
I then removed the fairing and went about installing them there.
First I tried them with the Beyma SQL60 Tweeters in play.
It was sounding good but then I could tell that they weren't going to mix well with the coax so I disconnected them, put them back on and finally disconnected them for good.
I removed the Tweeters and grills replaced with a new set of grills and everything sounding like a completely new system.
So I buttoned it all up and turned it on and nothing oh boy did I blow a fuse. As luck would have it, that was the first thing I checked and sure enough the radio fuse was out I removed the headlights and moved some wiring around put in a new fuse and all was good.
I played a couple of songs enjoying my new MMats.
I replaced the headlights and one of the HD symbols was out so I banged on the light and guess what, no more tunes.
AARGHHHHHHHH!!!
At least I know where the problem lies and if I don't get to it later I'll fix it first thing in the morning.
Here's a short clip of Too Close by Next. Headphones will help but It sounds way better in person.

It truly hard to beat the mmats coax both 6.5 and 6x9's. As technology changes and manufacturers continue to improve their products, it is only win win for us. Not all new speakers are up to standard like the new gen arc's or the new wdx motos as they just dont fit the open road sound needed as good as the mmats. Are there better sq seakers than the mmats, yes but not in that price range.
