Alright guys here's my question pretty self explanatory from the title! Mmatts MD4110 or stinger 700×4. I'll be using it to power 2 mmats 601cx in the fairing and 2 690cx in the lids.
Looking for insight to which amp has better sound quality in which one is overall a better amp. Looking for hasty responses trying to make a purchase ASAP thanks guys
I currently am running both. The stingeer in the fairing for fairing and lower speakers and the 4110 in the bag bridged for the 10's. I will tell you that the stinger wont hamper with fm signal and is easier to install because all connections are out front. The mmats have side mounts so keep that in mind. I have not run the mmats in the fairing but have read post that it does interfere with fm reception. As far as SQ, you would be hard presed to tell the difference.
Well it kind of depends on how long u will be able to run the Mmats or Stinger before u have to sell them to get big watts. Go big or go home!!!! Lol. Honestly, I have never gone wrong with having plenty of amp headroom.
But I don't think that amp is worth more than $350 though. Shop around, they can be had at a fair price.
