Hi all........my radio on my 2012 Ultra Limited keeps quiting. I am looking at the Aquatic AV AQ-MP-5UBT-HS for a replacement. Has anyone install this radio? Any other suggestions? Thanks.

Yes it is.

 

While I have no direct experience with Aquatic, this forum is littered with stories of issues with those radios and longevity. I have ran into HK radio issues, and have sent it to Iron Cross in NJ for repair. Those guys are very good, fwiw. If you were otherwise happy, that might be an option.

I have the low end Aquatic. I know there were problems posted on here about that HU. Fortunately I have not had 1 issue with mine in almost 4yrs. Maybe I got a good one, don't know
