I'm sure some have seen this, but I can't find a lot of info or input as to using it. I'll be keeping my stock HU for now, stinger amp, and the DD DSI-2 dsp. MMATS in all 4 corners of my new ultra.
I am not sure about finding the wires to the speakers in the back (i'm sure enough digging, I'll find) but this item or the BT BTBOC? Both accomplish the same thing. The AHB unit appears to take up a lot less real estate under the hood.
Thanks and sorry for all the questions. Getting closer....
Not sure on the AHB harness, by the time you add the front and rear you are almost at the cost of the break out harness and line levelers? I pulled the stock radio out of my ultra and never searched for the rear input. I have done a few ultra and just had the person go with the breakout harness for ease of install.
Cost does not concern me, I like the size of the AHB, over the BT. As for the HU, staying stock. I like it. I don't mind making changes to do that. Down the road, who knows....

thats nice, wish Id have seen that when I did my buddies ultra, the BT one is a pain in the ***
So I"m not trying to find/cut the factory harness for the rear speakers. The fronts would be easy to find, but that bundle of wires from HU to system is challenging. I'm open to cutting the wires to the rear if anyone can point me to the right ones...color, etc.

You only need a left and a right into the DSP it will take care of the rest.
Still need to find/.cut the appropriate wires. That is my hesitation. The rears are on a tourpack and are not separated from the main harness. There is not a disconnect in the hood, but rather integrated.

When I first upgraded my system on my 14 limited there were no break out harness. What I did was locate the rear speaker wires under the tank in the wiring trough on the backbone and cut the wires there and ran them back up to the fairing. After adding the amp I ran new wires back to the tourpack pods.
I cant remember what the wire colors were but can check the schematic when I get home this evening.
