Radio error 05 UC

After lubing my throttle, I now get this error code on my radio and the radio will do nothing.

Most error codes will be visible thru the odometer.
You may have pinched a wire if you had the switchpack apart or flooded the right switchpack with lubricant.

You can go to this site and it will tell you how to retrieve the service codes if any are stored.

for your year bike, the errors that you read on the radio are just for the radio, not the rest of the bike. if you do a search you will find plenty of articles on how to retrieve the ecu error/fault codes through the speedo, you also might search speedo diagnostics.

May try taking out main fuse for a while. See if it will reset?

I don’t have any experience with your problem, but those stock radios are smarter than they look..
