Default 2020 Road Glide System

Total audio newbie here. I have a 2020 Road Glide with the Boom 4.3. Trying to piece together a decent 2 speaker setup.

So far the only thing I have bought is a BT2180 amp. Looking for speaker reccomendations .

Eventually I am going to get the Sony 5000 or 7000 head unit. Would the system sound decent running new speakers, the BT2180, and a line leveler with the 4.3 head unit ?

If you're just staying with a 2 speaker setup....that's what we all say.....then its hard to beat the mmats 601cx right now. 200 bucks for the pair and they are loud with good sound.

Now if you think you might add lid speakers or lower speakers later on, I'd consider going ahead and getting a good 4 channel amp like the stinger 700.

Also, do some research on replacing the HU. Well I can see wanting to replace the 4.3...thought not sure what all is different about it versus the larger one. But the 6.5 just works well with the bike and integrates with all your controls nicely. You would also have to be leery of water intrusion on aftermarket HU's. Something to think about.

Gtop I too am a newbie with audio install.
After reading a lot I recently installed the stinger amp with mmat speakers and bt355 LL in my 2020 RGS. Im very pleased with the system and it leaves me room to add rear speakers. I think so far im in at $550 for everything.

Do you have to flash the head unit to install an amp and 2 speakers?
Id like to do the same but don’t want to have to flash it as I will lose my CarPlay.
And I like my CarPlay.
