You are correct Sir. Found a set of adapters for 160.

Can anyone explain the wiring to me? Is there a way I can use the factory wiring instead of running speaker wire to each of the speakers? If so what would I need to do.
I think you can use factory speaker wires.

Also there is a guy on the audio for sale forum with the front and rear BT355's for sale if you're interested.

Probably better off running new wire. You'll have all the necessary parts off the bike anyway for the amp install.

Yea I know but would prefer to keep factory wire since I wont have to drill holes or anything into my bags to run new speaker wire.

Might have to get out the continuity tester and start poking around till you find the correct wires then.

So is the original head unit good enough and just bypass the internal amp by using the low coax outs on the back of the Boom head unit?

Well you should already have a hole where your stock speaker wires run through into your bags, right? I dont remember if the guy ran new speaker wire for my fairing.......I didnt do the install, but another guy that did my bags did run new wiring to them.

I do but it's a pretty thick bundle and it is a connector. Also controls my electric locks for the bags. I think this is where soundz gets their fame from. As there whole system is plug and play. I will have to do some digging on this

well you should be removing your bag amp, so you can get rid of those wires and just run new speaker wires in the same way.

for aftermarket audio, absolutely. IF, you were just using the HD Boom system, I’m not as familiar. But if you use the low outs on the back of the head and third party amps, there’s no reason why you couldn’t.
