Hey Guys,
rather than respond individually just wanted to let you all know I’m reading and appreciative of all the responses I got.
I ought to explain though that as far as bike audio systems go over here in the UK we are still in the dark ages. I dont get I'm a technophobe and will be self installing but do need the simplicity of pre thought out kit that wont stress the life out of me if things begin to go wrong. I am prepared to pay a premium for this and I need to add the guys at soundz have been terrific in responding to my emails and questions.
In summary i think I know what I want, from what i have read I don't see the kit being too challenging to install, I’m just down to a bit of due diligence in seeing any experience from others that may have installed the same or pretty similar.
Been around this forum now for 12 years it seems, a great source of information for those of us overseas, its all appreciated.
Cheers

to make any parts plug and play you only need the adapters to go from the HD head unit out to the amp, that’s really the only thing you would ever need to cut, American hard bags the BT line leveler, and a few others make this part 50-100 bucks max, some even less. No flash needed, , then plug it to any amp, run power and run to the speakers and done, same even with a “plug and play” company, get any amp and speaker combo you want, it’s really not hard at all. All the harnesses, etc can easily be purchased separately(very few are needed) and no I’m not knocking Soundz just there are other options, and they really won’t be any harder or more complicated to install

I get it brother. All their kits come with the required wires to make it work. It really looks like a true plug and play kit. The kit I wanted from them is is 2200. Comes with every wire i need, requires no cutting and splicing into the harness, and also includes the main harness adapter. Pricing out similar things like my second amp bypass and that main harness adapter, the price for putting one together myself is getting closer to soundz price. I Could save a lot of money if I didn't mind cutting and splicing into my wires. I get rid of bikes pretty frequently and chopping into wires is not an option since if I bought a sound system, it would get yanked before I traded the bike in.

I think you will be happy in the end going with them. I have heard their systems and they did sound good. Buddy had their carbon 65 front speakers and it sounded nice. Peter Jensen (sounds owner) is super awesome. Spent a lot of time talking to him even at 1 in the morning.

I think u can do far better. Just have to take ur time and with the unbiased assistance of others within this sled audio network, design a system that meets ur listening & riding styles vs a one size fits all "plug and play" setup that is charging a massive premium for the institutional knowledge & product knowledge that is readily available at ur fingertips.
