New build done but unfortunately didnt make Daytona. One good thing about all this quarantine stuff is I got plenty of time to finish up a few small things and get this thing dialed in perfect.
Bike has a fat 21, top shop rear end, and DB pods molded to the fairing and DB lowers. Four 8 inch coax up front, 6.5 in the lids, four tweeters and two 10 inch subs, three batteries, five amps, and the best part is as hard as this thing hits I can still ride it 100mph on the high way! Paint was done by Beyond Sublime.
Youll have to let us know when and where we can hear it after this COVID-19 pandemic passes.
Well. I've got a few things in store for the upcoming season.
Fairing swap for road glide
New rear end with sealed and ported bags
New front end with native 180 kit
Mmats hifi amps
Speakers undecided other than faital 10's that are staying. Likely going with 6 Beyma 8's, but h sure which ones. Space and power will determine which ones I go with.
please let me know how both the Fairing swap and 180 kit went. I have an 11 limited that I have always wanted to be a RG.
Its not bad for the money. Lays down decent power, good sign wave, and has smooth mids. Doesnt pull super hard on lows but pretty good. Im happy for the $150 price. The one thing I did notice was the + & - was labeled wrong for the speaker. I currently have it on my 10s.
Great job jamming all that under the hood. Keep an eye on that amp regarding heat. I have only ran one of them but that biotch fried really damn fast in the TX heat. Lasted maybe a month.
My winter build turned into an early spring build. After that passed me by, it's now my Covid build. All of my Procrastination Help Groups postponed their meetings!!
After careful thought, consideration, relying on advise from knowledgable friends, I now have a plan!! I'm doing an all Arc Audio makeover. I'm using 3 sets of Moto HD's and Arc amps!!
Just kidding....The only thing staying in my build is the SD800 and JL880'S. Everything else is a do over. It will be a whole new frontier. I can't wait!!
