Getting kind of excited to finish this project! I know this stuff is old hat to a lot of you, but its my first motorcycle audio build that is this extensive.
Just finished running the wiring to the tour pack for the second amp, have had the front working for about a week or so now. Gas tank is on once again. I might be able to ride this thing in a week or so!
Here are some pics of the build. Previously it was all Harley Boom! Audio.
I know I wouldnt have been able to accomplish it if this forum didnt exist. You guys all rock from the folks asking the questions to the experts providing the answers.
What am I looking at? I mean see some good stuff but a description would be great.
Sorry . Head unit is a Sony XAV-7000 connected to a RF DSR1, into a MMats MD4110 amp powering a pair of MMats PA601cx in the fairing and some Kicker Marine speakers in the lowers.
Still working on the rear, but it looks like MMats PA801s and MMats tweets in the saddlebag lids and some Polk MM652s in the tour pack powered by a JL Audio HD900/5.

I'll be curious as to how that JL amp works out. I've been using one in my truck for years, great amp.

If you get creative and swap out the RF DSP to a DD DSI-2 and put the DSP in the CB cubby you can get all of the equipment in the fairing.
Yes with proper placement and a JM amp tray the JL HD amp will fit in the fairing.
Good you are getting setting up.
I'd suggest swapping out those home RCA cables.
A. They are not supposed to be bent like that.
B. They are not shielded for mobile use and may pick up interference.
C. Those tips are not supposed to touch.

Looks like a great start.
This is true. Not to give you a hard time but I would try to clean that up a bit. Sit down crack a cold one and take your time break it down piece by piece.
