To me and my ears going from the soundstream amp to the stinger is a lateral move. If you are wanting to upgrade and move up I would suggest the Soundigital 800.4s or wait for a bit until the new EVOX hit the streets and go with the 1200.4 evox.

Yea, and Im not interested in anything that wont be a huge improvement over my current amp.
I have to agree with baby boy. Although the stinger is a damn good amp with excellent SQ for the $$, you arent going to gain enough over the pn4-1000 to justify changing unless you just have to live with fm. Those new SD amps with allow you to expand and configure what you want. Bridged, running parallel and just what else you may want down the road.
