So I have my NEW amp installed. This is the 2nd one. It lasted less than 1 hour. It is wired according to the diagram that was sent with it. I bought the $ 245 wiring harness from the same place I bought the amp from. It is a Plug N Play harness. I did it this way so it almost couldn't be wired wrong. After I get it all together, and the gains and freqs set, everything sounds great, I put the fairing back on and maybe 20 minutes later, it's ****. I haven't even turned it past 1/2 volume. It's a Mmats MD 4110. Plug ed into a stock H-D 6.5 hu.
What can I do to check if its the amp ?

hows it wired? What harness are we talking about? What exactly does its **** mean?
Well, I don't have the diagram in front of me, but The + and - are direct to the bat. They are 8ga. All the connections at the amp are push in with a positive lock on them. The other end of each cable is color coded with RCA connectors. Those plug into a LOC, which, on the other side, has the wires that go to the speakers and the amp itself. There isn't a DSP or line leveler installed. Mmats said not to put one in. Keep in mind, it sounded awesome for a little while. The first amp lasted about 10 days. The sound turns to crap meaning, it looses power output, sometimes temporarily, most of the time it sounds scratchy and fuzzy. Very tinny and no bottom at all.
I just unplugged the amp, and ran the speakers without and they sound good. So I don't think the speakers are bad. This is that LOC
