Default DB Drive Advice

I first want to apologize for what most may interpret as stupid questions but please forgive me as this is my first time ever dealing with audio. I’ve got a 2014 SGS and have pieced together a budget system.Stock HU, DB Drive Neo 4 1250watt amp. I’ve got a set of the WDX 6Moto and then decided to order a set of the G2s only to read the G2s were not that great so I’m still on the fence as to which speakers I’m going to install. My confusion comes with tuning the amp.
-Gen 1 or Gen 2?
-Should I bridge these speakers or will unbridged be enough?
-Any info on setting the Hz and Gains is what’s most needed.
-BT-355 or will something like the PAC35 or Metra do the trick much cheaper?

I know there is much better out there but for me I couldn’t tell the difference between good sound and amazing sound so I don’t want to put $1k into audio. I’m looking to get the most out of what I’ve got without blowing something up because of a tuning mistake.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I would go with the Gen 2 myself. I would bridge that amp to run 2 channels as it makes no where near 1250W. Start the HP xover around 90hz and go up from there as you adjust the gain. You have to have a bt355 to deal with the Boom we curve. The other LOCs won't fix the curve. Setting gains is a matter of putting head unit volume at 3/4 or 4 bars from top and setting the voltage according to the sticky at the top of the page.

So on the BT355 I’ve got the two plugs to will connect to the factory speaker wiring harness. Is the factory speaker wiring harness enough or should I cut the plug of the BT355 and install a heavier gage wire?

The wire is only about 6 inches long probably won't be worth going heavier.
