I am trying to add a second amp to my setup and want to make sure I wiring it correctly, specifically the RCA Connections.
Gear List:
Alpine head unit with 2 speaker outputs, 1 sub
BT 4250 - planned on running fairing BT 7.1 pros off front channel, hertz sv 165 in lowers/tour pack ran in parallel
VADM4 - planned on running hertz cpx 6x9's in bags bridged
Does this sound like the best way to run what I currently have?
If so, whats the easiest way to make the RCA connections? I noticed the vadm4 amp has a switch for 2 channel, can I use this running the amp bridged and only need to use one set of rca cables?
I have two rca splitters, 2 male to 1 female. Can I use one splitter on the vadm4 amp and one splitter for channels 3/4 on the 4250 amp to bring everything down for the remaining 1 red and 1 white connection on the head unit?
I believe there is a setting in the alpine HU to choose to use the sub output as a regular output or a sub output. If so then just use it to the second amp. If not then you can use a y cable from the HU to the 2 amps, and use the 2 channel setting on the NVX.
Does switching the 2 channel switch on the nvx amp allow me to use ine set if rca cables from the amp to the head unit?
Yes. It's a 2 channel input switch vs 4 channel. Just make sure u read up on where to plug the 2 channels in as some amp have to be plugged into the rear amp inputs.
