I know this is off topic but from what i've looked around in here you guys are great at figuring things out and helping someone who knows almost nothing about audio, so here goes.
I have a 14 ultra limited and am pretty happy with the sound out of it so i guess i'm not overly picky. Our boat system gets distorted when we try to get it loud enough when we're hanging out on the beach so i mostly just want to get more volume and clear it up. We are always running from a direct connected ipod or bluetooth so radio isn't a problem.
We have a Fusion IP600 head unit that is 26RMS@ 4 OHMS or 43RMS@ 2 OHMS. it has 3 zones on it with the 3rd zone being for an amp i believe. It has a red and a white rca connection. For speakers we have 3 pairs of polk db651 which are 60 watts RMS. One set at the front of the boat one in the middle and one set by the rear swim deck.
From looking on here i was thinking Cerwin Vega or Stinger but honestly don't know if they would be good with this setup. Not sure how many channels i need, how many amps it should be, or how to wire it up.
You can. This was several speakers ago for me. They work good until you start running more power. I had them in the fairing too. I had to gut a set of BOOM speaker grills to mount the tweeter.

I had 4 wetsounds in fairing on my roadstar powered by Rockford tm400x4. Like you said there nice but I blew them out after a year. Not worth what I paided in my opinion. If you're not gunna blast them there great. But that's not my style lol.

Well good to know. I was wondering if they would be worth trying in a bike. Already have them in my boat, so was debating on experimenting, but that sounds like it's not worth the effort.
