I have those speakers on my Road Glide for both my fairing and Tour Pak and they go plenty loud enough and are relatively clear for all types of music. These were readily availalble here in Canada, otherwise I would have considered MMats. The Polks can be a little high pitched on some music, though not to the pint that it is unbearable. I am using a smaller Focal amp and it drives them well enough. No issues with the speakers in 2 seasons
We are definitely limited to selection up here in Canada, but I have learnt over the last 4 years of hanging around this forum that the brands and gear the guys usually recommend are well worth the difference in exchange and the cost of shipping. A lot of times they are the diamonds in the rough that would probably fallen through the cracks, or wouldn't even be on our radar.
A lot of the brands are unknown to us up here in Canada, but the guys have quickly made me a believer in the Mmats, DB Moto, PRV, Massive TX48, etc.
I've yet to try PRV, Beyma, Ground Zero, Sound Digital amps and a few other brands, but I wouldn't hesitate to spend the extra $$$$ if I could because I have no doubt if these guys have recommended them they are worth the price.
i ordered up the Stinger, the Mmats, the DB Moto G2's, my JL audio 8.8", DSP under recommendations here, and all have been even better than expected.
