I have no experience with that equipment but you could try lowering that to 95-100 range and see if that helps the sound any. Then spend some time adjusting the eq in the hu to see where that gets you.
Also, are you using the hu xovers or amp xovers?

I'm not sure the brand but it is a 400 W amp that came with the kit from sinister. I heard so many mixed reviews with sinister but are heard a lot of good ones. And let me tell you that was a complete waste of money lol. I'm using a Kenwood head unit. With a 13 band equalizer. I just did not know if I wanted to go with mmats or something else. It sounds like everybody stands behind them on this site. But I'm never heard 1. Just gives me worried when the part number has a PA in it. I want loud but I don't want just loud. I wanted a good all around speaker. I know I'm not gonna have a lot of bass obviously but I would like to have little bit of mid range and some highs. If I get the mmats I was going to get the stinger 700 too.
As much as I hate the barrel of Kool-Aid (mmats and Stinger combo), it really is a great combo for the price. They sound great in pods. You could even go with a smaller amp if only going to run 2 speakers.

I want to thank all you guys other help, I really do appreciate the advice. I ordered mmats and I'm going to try them in the pods . I also bought the adapters just encase they don't sound right in the pods lol . I didn't buy the stinger yet, it is in the cart in ebay, I wated to try the amp I have. I figured it should be enough because I'm using 2 speakers for now.
The mmats are not in stock now. But they said end of April. %10 off now.

I know it's been a couple of years, but how'd those mmats work out in the sinister pods?
