Default streaming quality
Not sure if its ok to ask this here, but all of my free streaming apps like pandora or spotify have different volumes and quality, do the upgrades /subscriptions make enough of a difference in sound quality? and what is everyone's favorite source for quality tunes?

I've been paying for Spotify for 3+ years. I don't remember what the quality was before then. I also don't use it to stream when I ride so maybe me respond is null and void lol

I dont think there is a sound or streaming quality difference with Pandora, and I have the premium. I dont have commercials though, and I do have the ability to create playlists, which I like. The one thing I cant stand about Pandora though, is when it loses signal, it defaults to a certain station, and its NOT the one I am listening to. I havent yet found how to set that....that is my single gripe though.

Spotify gives me the ability to normalize the volume and select the streaming quality. However I do not know if you get the same features with the free version

when I ran the free version of Pandora and Spotify the quality was not good as amazon music which I pay for.

I save everything on my phone the quality seems great to me, I was trying to stream the other day and it wasn’t near as good, my wife grabs my phone goes into settings and shows me where to use the best streaming quality, it’s a higher rate and could cost a lot more if you don’t have unlimited data, which I do, it was a very noticeable improvement

Was this with Spotify? If so, would you be able to elaborate as to where to find this setting? I'm using iPhone with paid Spotify.

I've heard Amazon HD is good, I use a USB thumb drive myself.
