when i use spotify in particular its volume is much lower than my pandora, cd, and fm, I used the built in adjustment on my head unit and its 9 clicks higher than all the others, the add they run constantly says for 20 some dollars a month you get no ads ",better sound" quality etc... just wasnt sure if the freee version is restricted in volume or something?
amazon is one i did not even know about, i will try it tonight thanks,
The trick with Spotify is to always select VERY High for Stream and Download for the best quality at all times. Then, turn OFF 'Download using Cellular', so you do not kill your data plan when you are away from Wifi and riding the bike.
Also, open the EQ and make sure it's relatively flat for any output source you are using with it's own SQ adjustments. Then I download everything to my phone's separate 128GB SD card, and when riding the bike, I only play what I have downloaded. Sounds pretty good in most cases.
