I am installing MMats 601cx into my 2018 Ultra Classic. I understand I need a 1” spacer. I am trying to find a spacer without paying more for the spacer than the speaker. I understand most are made from an ABS plastic and may cost $1-2 each to manufacture. Retailing them for over a $100 a pair is crazy. I just feel paying $100 to $180 is GREED for 2 - 1” spacers!
Who have any of you used for spacers that was reasonable priced and worked well for spacing the speaker out 1” (trust me I understand we need to make money, but I dont understand highway robbery)
I dont want to start a price discussion only suggestions without trashing any manufacturer names and how high their prices are they charge....
Are you sure you neeed a full inch? I have a 2012 and i have used a couple of spacers. I went with the Vtwin just because it looks like it is facrory. I did have regular rings for a long time and they worked fine.
Sound Mekanix is very reasonably priced and good quality. You may have to stack them as I don't recall a 1" option, but I'm sure that won't be a bad job either.
i really think that you will only need 1/2-3/4 inch spacer, metra makes some that are inexpensive, but the appearance may mor may not suit, you might check them out.

I believe there is a listing in Audio Classified where the guy has several sets of spacers, (Maybe for TP, not fairing,? ) Either way if I recall, he just wanted shipping. https://www.hdforums.com/forum/motor...her-stuff.html Not sure if those are the kind of spacers you require.
