does anyone know the screw size for the vertical screws that go from the amp tray to the Sony dash kit housing. I managed to strip 2, and need to check to see if Home Dept or Lowes has them. It looks like about a half inch maybe three quarters, but not sure of the thread. Strangley, 4 were torx and one was Phillips.
What come out of the stock radio are T25 1/4"-20. What come with the Sony brackets are phillips 1/2" screws (because you're screwing into plastic, not a threaded hole).
Correct, the ones that go through the amp tray into the sony bracket are sheet metal screws, not bolts. the ones going into the HD radio are longer 1/4"-20 bolts
