Default Audio Control ACM-2.300

Does anyone have any experience with this Audio Control 2 channel amp powering fairing speakers? It was one option suggested to me by a local audio shop for my 2020 Road Glide Special. Thanks

Looks a little weak to me. What speakers are you using with it?

That’s what I was thinking as well. I was checking out a local shop and this was one of the suggested products that they were using along with some kicker and Rockford amps and speakers. There doesn’t seem to be much info on how these audio control amps perform so thought I’d ask here. No plan to purchase one.

Audio Control are great amps that have a ton of features that are designed to work in car audio especially with factory systems. They are expensive and their smaller amps don't put out enough power to really work on a bike unless you were using them to power tweeters. You would have to get the 4.300 and bridge it to get 150W and that would run around $320. They are really good amps just not realistic for bikes looking to get big sound.

I looked into that same Audio Control amp for my BMW motorcycle. Some people indicated they were very conservatively rated and would work well. They seem to be known for providing good sound quality. They are on the high side of the price spectrum. There are probably other options to go with that are proven to work well on HD's that might even save you some money.

I ended up buying an NVX VADM 2 channel instead of the Audio Control.
