Stereo no sound from speakers

Stereo no sound from speakers
I have a 2011 Flhtk. Stereo sound cuts out random. J&K 500 watt amp and speakers. Amp shows no sign of overheating. Green light stays on. Hit speaker switch and will sometimes work but not for long. Now no longer works. No codes on raidio. Any help please.

The radio is most likely broken. You have a couple of options:
1. Send it in to be repaired at Iron Cross Audio. Expect to pay at least $250.
2. Repair it yourself. Or if you do not have the ability, maybe you can find someone. Cost would probably be under $50.

B. Innovation Cooling Graphite Thermal Pad (30 X 30mm), from Amazon
C. ASI 388 Clear Electronic Grade Silicone, from Amazon
D. MG Chemicals 422B Silicone Modified Conformal Coating, 55 ml Bottle, from Amazon
3, Look into replacing your radio. If the CB, Intercom, Headset and rear speaker volumn adjustment features aren't important to you, you should look into the new Rockford Fosgate PXM-HD9813 radio.

I'm new to this so please bear with me.

I have not tried that yet. Maybe this weekend. I also have an old unit from my 09 flhx I was going to try and hook up but not sure if that will work the same.

But make sure ur prob isn't the speakers themselves when u run HU yo speaker.

You may want to start by rewiring all the connections from the HU to the amp to the speakers. Likely something not making a solid connection. That is a cheap and easy task and you may not need to go any further.
