I am not familiar with that head unit, but with those speakers and amp all you should need to do is set a high pass at either 80hz or 100hz. I think most people are doing 100hz for those.
Yep, set your crossover at approx. 100hz and as far as gains set according to the sticky thread at the top of the audio section titled "setting amp gains"
i read the sticky and watched the video but i get confused at the end when hes talking about tones ... "1 khz tone for 99 % of builds on this forum. I advise using the -5 db tone for some gain overlap"
what the heck does that mean ?? LOL im lost as to which tone in supposed to be using in the link that he attached.
also .. how do i play the tone ? open it on my phone and connect it with bluetooth to the head unit to play the tone ??

The download includes different level tones at each frequency like a 0db -2db and -5db etc. hes saying to download via the link and use the -5db tone. The tone you want is 1000hz = 1khz
the overlap refers to music being recorded less than 0db so if u tune at a 0db (louder signal) when u play normal music (-5db for ex) after u set gains it will be too low than what u want for the output. Recorded music will never be at a 0db signal strength. Hope that helps
1000 hz w -5db is a safer gain setting so u don't blow shix up.
T
actually, when you use a -5 you are setting the gains at a lower output tone. If your music is at 0db you will be clipping. Its called gain overlap. How is that being safe?

Music is dynamic. -5 on the mids is how I roll. Not an ounce more.
