Default Boom stage 2 question

I picked up a stage 2 fairing setup from someone who had it in their bike. I am reading the install and was under the impression the head unit needed to be flashed for this to work correctly. However, the instructions state to have the amp flashed. Does anyone know which for sure? I would imagine if it was just the amp, I shouldn’t need to do anything since it was in a bike already. This is copied from the instructions:

Load amplifier EQ based on speaker configuration using amplifier flash section of Dealer Service Tool (Digital Technician).
a. Check for updates to the Amplifier Base Calibration.
b. Install newest version of Base Calibration, if updates are available.
c. Proceed to radio reflash.
d. Select new speakers configuration.
e. The correct EQ based on speakers configuration is available in the information section.
f. Complete reflash of radio with new speakers configuration.
g. Proceed to Amplifier reflash.
h. Load Amplifier EQ based on speakers configuration as noted in Radio reflash section.
i. Complete Amplifier reflash.

Not an expert here, but I’m sure the dealer digital tech is flashing the ecu, telling it there is a new amp and speakers to work in the system.

i was under the impression all the radio flashes were stored in the ECM or BCM doesn't matter what the flash was when it came out of a bike, it depends on what you have in yours.
