Hey fellas,
I'm buying a pre-owned bike that has a double din Pioneer2400NEX installed in place of the factory HD head unit.
Are these things OK to have in the rain? I didn't know they were OK for 'marine' use but here in FL we get dumped on often in the summer. Perhaps I should look at a cover like you'd put over a head unit used in a boat?

what year and model bike? really helps in directing you to other options, if you have 14+ RG or SG, the 6.5 GTS is an option. if you really are in love with the head unit you have now, there are ways to protect it from the elements...

the 6.5 GTS is direct fit option for you, but it ain't gonna be cheap...

They released a GTS that will fit. Not sure how different they are, if any difference at all....they may have a different part number though. Do a search here and the M8 forum. There are tons of threads about them.
