Default 8/2 Flash with BT355?

Going to get an 8/2 flash later today. I plan on adding a DSP and maybe others things over the winter and only wanted to flash once. So the rest of the riding season It will remain as is (BT355). What can I expect? Do I need to readjust the gains? What about the gains on the BT355 itself? There is not much left to the riding season here in Michigan so if its not worth the effort to go back under the hood, I'll leave it like it is for now. Thoughts?

I have no actual real world experience with this scenario, but my thinking is the LL cuts out the really terrible lows coming from the boom, the new flash should mostly get rid if that so now there is nothing for the LL to remove, so you system should pretty much sound the same until you can remove them and re tune? just my WAG

8/2 flash with BT355 will drastically cut any low end response. The BT355 is designed to kill the huge boost from HD at around 100 hz, so when you flatten the curve of the EQ with the flash, you'll be really killing the low end with the BT. I'd get a PAC SNI-15 for cheap off of amazon, reset your gains, and roll with it.

Thanks Andy. It doesn't sound as bad as I thought it was going to. Riding season is about over here so I'll make it a winter project. I'm going to get a DSP anyway and be done.
