it means that the impedance of the voice coil is compatible with amplifiers designed for 2-4 ohm impedance loads ,,,,, this helps the consumer cut thru the confusion ,,,,,

I will have to agree with Bates the JM products are good paper weights along with good targets for sighting in weapons.
Before it is asked I have heard the over priced inferior equipment installed on numerous different bikes in different configurations.
There is better sounding equipment with better customer service and warranty available for less money.

For the amp you have listed you do not need to use 2 ohm speakers as the amp is 2 ohm and 4 ohm compatible in stereo.

there are many good 6X9s out there ,,, but the latest J&M ROKKER 6X9 is toward the top of the pile ,,, MUCH BETTER than Harley BOOM II ,,,,,,,,
I have also removed Fosgate and HogTunes 6X9" speakers at the shows, replaced them with the J&M ROKKER 6X9" speakers and night/day difference ,,,,
the comparisions are real and I hear these at most every rally ,,,,
