Sd 800.4 amp
I am looking for input on the SD 800.4 4ohm amp. Currently i have a JL XD 400/4 AMP running my DD AW6.5 & AT28'S in my fairing on 2017 SGS. I am wanting to flash my radio, get rid of the BT355LL. I would like to get rid of the JL amp replace it with the SD 800.4 EVOX AMP so i have room to put the Rockford fosgate DRS1 next to it. Is this setup any good?

That amp will work fine with your setup as long as you run a dsp. Do you already have the dsr1? If not I would look into another dsp. A daytona 408 is about as good as it gets for the price.

I dont think the change of amp will be worth the effort since those speakers cant really take much more than 225w each. I have given mine as much as 275 or so but the sound didnt benefit from it.
Adding a dsp will get you better sound but I think the gains will be minimal on those speakers.

I was looking at the space i could gain. I do like the sound i get with the DD AW6.5 & THE AT28'S. I just want to get rid of the BT line levelers & re flash my head unit. I do have a set of Mmatt 601cx i could throw in there.
