Its hard to hear music from behind you when your riding. I had a RK with bag speakers and in the lower fairings. Still harder to hear than fairing speakers. Maybe needed better speakers and a bigger amp.

One question I have though is still around getting audio out (from either my Garmin or a phone) into the amp. The output on the Garmin is a 3.5mm aux type cord and all of the inputs I see on amps are multi-wire, separate R/L channel inputs. Would I possible be better off with some sort of BT receiver, bypassing the Garmin?

i've never used a garmin, but I'm sure some guys have here and can comment on the best way to get sound to a bike without a true radio.
