Actually that amp would work fine. Parallel the fairing speakers on Ch1, parallel lowers on Ch2, and run the lids on their own channels for 3&4. That's based on using the 4ohm version.

Ok thanks! So whatever amp I choose I need to get 4ohm? Sorry for all the questions, I’m just new to the audio stuff

No sir!!! If you chose the 2 amp route, you'd need a 1200.4 (2ohm) to run the fairing and lowers. Parallel bridged gets you up to 600 watts on that amp. The amp for lids would need to be 4ohm. On the 2400.4 (4ohm) when you parallel 2 4ohm speakers you get a 2ohm load. That amp puts out 600 watts at 2ohms. Same outcome just different amp strategies. I'd go the 2400.4 route.

Wow! All of that sounds like farmer fran’s voice to me, lol The deeper I get into this the more I’m thinking I just need to bite the bullet and let a pro shop handle it and call me when they’re done!

Shannon, dont forget his bike is a CVO. There's more mods needed for those GZs to fit in CVO lids because of the locks, if Im not mistaken?

Also, since you have a CVO, don't you already have an amp in the bags for the rear speakers? Why cant you stick a small amp like the SD400 in place of those and run the new rear speakers off that, then the 1200 for the front 2 GZ pairs.

There is an amp in each bag and one in the fairing, is it possible to use the ones in the bags?

No I meant replace the ones in the bag with a new amp back there to power the lids, since that is already a space for an amp. Then you dont have to work out how to put two amps in the fairing.
