Ok if you are planning on adding lowers (I did) then you want a good 4 channel amp. That amp will depend on what speakers you get. At present time the best sounding coax speakers are the GZCF 6.5 PL as they have great SQ and wont break the bank. Those speakers run great off a sd 1200.4 amp and that will give you 2 more channels for your lowers. I personally have not tried those speakers off a stinger or 800.4 but I currantly have them in my lowers off a 1200.4 and they sound good. Another combo that sounds good without breaking the bank is a set of mmats pa601cx running off a stinger spx700x4 amp. That combo is perfect as the mmats dont require as much power to get loud. In fact, I think the mmats get louder than the GZ's do but the GZ's will produce more lower frequencies.
Now as far as lowers go, I am running these on my bike painted black and they dont look bad. Fit and finish is damn good too.

I will probably do that in the future but I just put these gz's in my lowers and haven't even had it on the road yet. Yea it will make a difference running the 8's but at speed Im not sure it is $800 worth the difference. Now in a parking lot showing off (pimping) it will make a big difference. I would get those lowers I mentioned, 4 gz and a 1200.4 amp and give that a try. The only 8" lowers that I would run are the dirty birds but they aint cheap and adding a good 8" mid range aint cheap either.
BTW if you are looking for the gz and sd amp, get ahold of Aggressive Audio on facebook as they are solid people with damn good customer service. That is who I use for almost all my purchases now.
