Yes, but what I meant was that they would be under 200W. At 4 ohms the Moto 600.4 is 150W and the SD 1200.4 is 165W (Parallel Bridged). So to clarify that part of my question, are the YBs worth using at 150-165W? Or should I just go with 4 MMATAS? Thanks
A sd1200.4 evox (4 ohm) at 12.6 volt will deliver 198w x 4. At 14.4 (unning volts for a harley) it will deliver 198w x 4. Those are RMS ratings but plenty enough for a gz yellow basket. Hel a stinger 700x4 will give 1200-125w per channel and those YB's will sound good just not as loud as they can get. Bsides, at 100-125 the lows will be even more prominent. SO yea a 1200.4 evox will deliver 200w per channel.
I have not run them off a moto 600.4 so I cant ell yo how they would sound.
Lmfao 200 isnt enough ask anyone that has a shop and or competes. Sure 100 watts will get them to make sound. They are exactly set where where anyone that installs 1000s of setups would set them
.maybe someone did( wasnt me ) . You guys are funny af
Sir I AM running them with 200w. ARE YOU? Have you? I am not impressed with you bashing me insinuating that I have no idea what I am talking about. I am also not impressed that all you do is name drop every shop that you read on the internet without ANY experience of you own on any of the speakers other than hearing them. No I am ot a big stoe installer and I have not install all that say some big installers have, but I have done my share if trying different speakers and done a few installs. Remember that all the "big" installers had to start somewhere.
your ringleader himself as proclaimed to numerous on here 200 isnt enough. Mine are seeing about 300 watts each. I originally was gonna go full send but I will say shannon did tell me I would pop them w no dsp. He was correct as a few guys were a bit misleading. I'm not a install guy nor care to ever install. I can hear very well. They are ok not.what you guys make them out to be. Then again most of you are old and never had any audio equipment before so a set of boom 2 or rf do sound ok to some of you. I can assure you they are far from great. Great for 250 bucks yes sir no doubt. I would like to see what they sound like w a dsp and pushing 400 watts like many pros run
All the pros you speak of or are name dropping guaranteed are not running these in their comp Bikes or are pushing 400 watts to any of their customer bikes. If your so high on all these pros why are you asking me what’s 8s to run in lids to go with those GZs if you don’t like them.
